I have now added quite a bit more to the post ‘A Holy Fool Among A Feast of Fools’, but, once more, I have been stopped from finishing the post by jamming from an unknown source.
I am happy with what I have in the post so far, but I was intending to add yet more information about Peter Walker, Thatcher’s Energy Secretary during the NUM strike, 1984-85 and then Welsh Secretary, 1987-90, who had links with dodgy businesses and city investment firms and was mates with key members of Dafydd’s Gang. Walker was a pal of dodgy geezer the asset stripper Jim Slater, who was a pal of James Goldsmith and Nigel Lawson. It’s all in the post, but I have more to add which I have been unable to.
As I’m unable to amend anything further on ‘A Fool Among A Feast Of Fools’, I’m going to put the follow up information in a new post which I will be working on over the next few days. I am sorry about this, the information WILL all be up on the blog soon, but it does mean that ‘A Fool Among A Feast Of Fools’ looks messy and unfinished.
Please bear with me, I really do apologise, but I’ll bring all the loose ends together in future posts no matter how keen someone is to delay me.
By the way, because of the electronic interference with ‘A Fool Among A Feast Of Fools’, it does mean that I’m unable to post up comments in response to that post as well. Readers are welcome to comment in response to other posts if they wish to circumvent the problems…
