Lord Snooty The Third

My post ‘The Battle For The Labour Party’s Soul’ discussed the shenanigans in the Bermondsey Labour Party in the 1980s and the homophobic hate campaign against Peter Tatchell, which was orchestrated by a group of people who were not gay rights activists like Tatchell, but who were instead sending numerous children in the care of Southwark Borough Council – Southwark Borough Council covered Bermondsey as well as Peckham and Dulwich – into the embrace of Dafydd’s trafficking gang in north Wales and who continued to do this even in the wake of the most serious complaints about the abuse of Southwark children while they were in children’s homes in north Wales.

A trafficking racket was not the only criminal activity facilitated. Bob Mellish, the Labour MP for Bermondsey, 1946-82, was also involved in large scale civic corruption and was a business associate of the notoriously crooked former Leader of Newcastle-upon-Tyne City Council, 1960-65, T. Dan Smith, who’s empire was originally in the North East of England but who caused havoc across much of the UK during the 1960s and 70s as his empire expanded (see previous posts). T. Dan Smith specialised in corruption with regard to planning and building in local authorities and ended up going to prison. Bob Mellish’s Ministerial responsibilities brought him into contact with the Civil Service mandarin Dame Evelyn Sharp who oiled the wheels of such corruption in the fields of planning and construction, as well as a number of Ministers and Secretaries of State who concealed the organised abuse and associated crime of Dafydd and linked gangs. Mellish was networked with other MPs, some of whom such as Simon Hughes were not in the Labour Party themselves but who joined in the bashing of Tatchell for their own benefit and who also kept quiet about the organised abuse and local authority corruption.

I also explained in ‘The Battle For The Labour Party’s Soul’ how Mellish, who was styled as the Authentic Voice Of The Working Class Cockney, did Thatcher’s Gov’t a massive favour by accepting Michael Heseltine’s offer of an appointment as the Vice-Chairman of the LDDC (London Docklands Development Corporation) in 1981. The Labour Party was opposed to the LDDC but Friend Of The Common People Mellish was happy to help Thatch out nonetheless. The LDDC decimated the lives and opportunities of the disadvantaged citizens of Mellish’s constituency and the surrounding area.

My post ‘The Bodies Beneath Canary Wharf’ described the role of local politicians in Tower Hamlets such as Sir Robin Wales in the development of Docklands, again resulting in very little benefit to the local people. Dafydd’s gang operated in Tower Hamlets as well as Shoreditch (see posts eg. ‘Tower Hamlets, Paul Boateng and Tessa Jowell’ and ‘Apocalypse Now’) and a number of Top Doctors/NHS personnel ensured that they picked up more than a few crumbs from the table as Thatcher’s Gov’t bought off everyone who knew about the trade in disadvantaged children and young people between London and north Wales. One person who did very nicely out of it all was Sir Sam Everington, who as a young Top Doctor in the 1980s – Everington is a barrister as well – gained himself a reputation as the BMA’s in-house radical, raising concerns about the hours and working conditions of junior Top Doctors and racism in medicine. Sam was a leading light in the BMA when the BMA was providing Dr Tony Francis and Dafydd et al in north Wales with advice and support with regard to having me framed for serious crimes and transferred to a high security psychiatric hospital. Not only did Sam not mention a word about this or the abuse of vulnerable people which was being facilitated by those we know and love, but Sam evolved into exactly the sort of complacent, privileged old BMA fart whom he once pretended that he wanted to cleanse medicine of.

The Chairman of the LDDC was Sir Nigel Broackes, the founder of Trafalgar House, one of the UK’s largest contracting businesses. Broackes was born in Wakefield, Yorkshire – Jimmy Savile country – and was educated at Brambletye School, Sussex and Stowe School. Broakes joined Stewart & Hughman, a firm of Lloyd’s underwriters, upon leaving school. He then did his national service and was commissioned into the Royal Armoured Corps in 1953.

After completing his national service, with the support of Eastern International, a small finance house, Broackes started buying up bomb sites in London. Eastern International became Trafalgar House and Broackes took a 21% stake in the business when it was first listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1963. In 1964 the company took a 49% stake in Bridge Walker, a construction company owned by Victor Matthews. Broackes and Matthews subsequently worked together to build Trafalgar House into a huge business. Trafalgar House owned the Cunard Line, 1971-98, although Broackes resigned in 1992 following heavy losses associated with a diversification into offshore activities.

Broackes was appointed Chairman of the LDDC in 1979. He resigned from that post in 1984 and in the same year was knighted for his role at the LDDC.

1984 was the year that the threats from the Top Doctors began to reign down upon Brown and I. Mary Wynch was on her way to the Master of the Rolls by then and Dafydd and the paedophiles had sent up distress flares, resulting in the arrival of reinforcements both in UCNW (Bangor University) and the local NHS, in the form of people such as Professor Eric Sunderland, Tony and Sadie Francis and Dr Lyndon Miles (see previous posts). In 1984 Alison Taylor had begun to blow the whistle on the abuse of children in care in north Wales and had been called to a disciplinary hearing by Gwynedd County Council. In Oct 1984, Alison’s concerns about the welfare of children in care in north Wales were denounced as ‘unjustified’ by Detective Inspector Gregson.

The security services had Brown and I under surveillance by 1984 (see previous posts), but nobody thought to tell us the level of concern that there was regarding the activities of the health and social care sectors in north Wales. Instead, MI5 watched Gwynne the lobotomist and Dr D.G.E. Wood forge medical records and lie about us to third parties. They watched those we know and love do that to other witnesses as well. We are now being told by Gov’t and the police that it was difficult bringing that gang to justice because ‘the witnesses were not considered credible’. Of course we weren’t, MI5 watched in silence as we were smeared and fitted up for crimes to ensure that we could be denounced as, er, not credible.

There was a piece on The Guardian Online yesterday about an activist group called ‘Sisters Uncut’ who are going apeshit about witnesses/victims of sex offenders being forced to hand over personal information such as counselling and medical records to the police in the event of their (alleged) assailants being prosecuted. The info is made available to the defence and to their alleged assailants and is used to discredit the complainants. This has been standard practice for years. It is why so many ludicrous things were written about me on my medical records, without my knowledge and it is why it took me more than 20 years and a High Court case to obtain copies of my own records. Which of course contained evidence of serious wrongdoing on the part of everyone who had fitted me up.

Sisters Uncut: I do believe that people accused should have fair trials. The answer, in terms of defending yourselves if you are the complainant, is to not go near a counsellor or a Top Doctor. They are not there to help you. They are corrupt to the core and they are there to assist a corrupt state apparatus which has abused thousands of vulnerable citizens. Please, no matter how bad you feel, keep away from them until those professions have been completely cleaned up (which is going to take a very long time). The biggest mistake that I ever made was to have anything to do with the vile perjuring bastards. Dafydd and Gwynne the lobotomist were recorded undercover trying to get their legs over me and others and they then received 100% protection and support from the state and their proud ‘profession’ when we complained. By the way, Dafydd et al also used their positions to extract information from patients about people who were a risk to those patients and Dafydd et al then contacted those people and did deals with them; they are 100% toxic.

Rebel police people who are banging on at me to name more Somerset folk from years ago whom you claim gave info to Dafydd et al in order to smear me: No. You knew what they were doing at the time – it is how you are able to give me details now all these years later – everyone was under surveillance but the info was used to attack Brown and me and our supporters. You chose to do that, you didn’t want us, you wanted a gang of criminals. That’s what you have got. If you want to mount prosecutions against them, then tell the security services to release the undercover recordings.  I’m not interested in constantly arguing the toss and defending myself against ludicrous allegations which everyone knew were untrue at the time. I’ll make the same comment to you as I always did to that silly old twat Dafydd and his minions when they demanded that I give them ‘my side of the story’ after they had made things up about me and written it down as fact: No, piss off. You’ve know what lies you have told and I am not interested in the insanities of Top Docs or Top Cops who’ve now got egg on their faces. A lot of people told the most disgusting lies about Brown and me to protect a gang of paedophiles and you went along with them. Live with it.

Nigel Broackes married Joyce Horne and they had two children. Whether Joyce Horne is any relation to Bangor University’s Professor Pauline Horne, the long-standing mistress of Prof Fergus Lowe and someone who knew all about Dafydd and the gang (see post ‘Feet In Chains’) I do not know. Broackes died in Chelsea, in Sept 1999, five months before the publication of the Waterhouse Report.

So Dafydd and the gang had Mr Big of the LDDC and Trafalgar House to help cover their arses throughout the many cover-ups. Although Mr Big was yet another person who could have named names who pegged out just before Ronnie Waterhouse finished the job.

Ioan Bowen Rees, Chief Exec of Gwynedd County Council while the paedophile gang made merry in the Council’s children’s homes and who was County Secretary of Dyfed County Council when a gang linked to Dafydd’s gang operated in the Social Services in Dyfed, died in May 1999. Lord Max Beloff, Ioan’s friend, died in March 1999. Lord Max was one of the movers and shakers behind the private University of Buckingham, Thatch’s favourite University of which Thatch became Chancellor (see previous post). Lord Max was the dad of Michael Beloff QC, Cherie’s colleague and pal of both Cherie and Miranda. It was Michael Beloff QC who was the legal adviser to Municipal Mutual, the insurers of the North Wales Police and Clwyd County Council and who ensured that the Jillings Report of 1996 into the abuse of children in the care of Clwyd County Council since 1974, was not made available to anyone at all, not even to Clwyd’s Councillors (see post ‘It’s A Piece Of Cake…’).

Albert Joseph Ward, known as Reg Ward, was the first Chief Executive of the LDCC, 1981-88. Reg was the son of a miner and was born in the Forest of Dean. He went to the East Dean Grammar School, Cinderford, Gloucestershire. Reg joined the RAF and when working as a pilot, he was encouraged to apply for university. He subsequently went to Manchester University and after graduating joined the Inland Revenue as a Tax Inspector.

In his mid-30s Ward had a third change of career, leaving the Inland Revenue for a job as administrator of the architecture department at Lancashire County Council. Ioan Bowen Rees worked as a solicitor for Lancashire County Council for a period of time from the mid-late 1950s. So Reg’s time working for Lancashire CC will have overlapped with Ioan’s and they will have been of about the same seniority in the Council.

A series of local government appointments followed, culminating in Reg becoming Chief Executive of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and later of Hereford and Worcester County Council.

The Borough of Hammersmith was responsible for the management of Stamford House Remand Home in Shepherd’s Bush, which during the 1960s and 70s was the focus of successive scandals regarding the sexual abuse of the young people housed there; at that time such complaints very rarely saw the light of day, so it is likely that, as the inmates of Stamford House alleged, the abuse was serious (see post ‘The Case Of The King’s Sperm’).

One of those working at Stamford House at the time of the complaints was Peter Clarke. Peter Clarke was appointed as the first Children’s Commissioner for Wales, 2001-08. Wales was the first nation to install a Children’s Commissioner and was particularly proud of leading the world in this. The Children’s Commissioner was appointed on the recommendation of Sir Ronnie Waterhouse to ensure That It Never Happened Again, although of course according to Ronnie, not very much did happen. Before becoming Children’s Commissioner, Peter Clarke dropped in to do a stint with many other favourite organisations of the paedophile gang, such as being a community care adviser with the Spastics Society (SCOPE) (abuse of clients in the care of SCOPE has been alleged) from 1985 – paedophiles’ friend and Blair’s former PPS David Hanson worked for SCOPE at the time and the Tory Tim Yeo, who ignored organised abuse in various Ministerial roles, was Chief Exec of SCOPE, 1980-83. Clarke was Director of the mental health charidee Rethink – who ignored a letter from me about the gang in north Wales – from 1991. Clarke followed that up with a post as Director of ChildLine Cymru from 1995, when there were allegations that ChildLine Cymru ignored calls from kids in care from north Wales reporting abuse.  Before undertaking senior roles with charidees which colluded with Dafydd and the gang, Peter Clarke worked as a social worker in London and Brighton, which were the locations of the brothels owned by John Allen to which children were trafficked. Peter Clarke studied at the Universities of Sussex and Warwick (you’ve guessed it…) and he originally came from Llandudno, as did Gwynne the lobotomist and many other key facilitators of the north Wales gang. For more on Peter’s glittering career, see post ‘Yet Mote Inglorious Bastards’.

Of course Peter Clarke was going to be Wales’s first Children’s Commissioner, Ronnie probably tailored the job spec especially for him.

  • L Sir Ronald Waterhouse And Mr Morris John Le Fleming ...
  • BBC News | WALES | Guidelines for sex abuse inquiries

With regard to Hereford and Worcestershire County Council, it was David Tombs, who was once their Director of Social Services, who in 2014 made headlines when he told journos that in the 1990s he had acquired a list of VIP paedophiles, some of whom lived in Herefordshire and Worcestershire and was told by officials in the DoH that he’d never get anywhere if he tried to deal with this matter, because there are ‘too many of them over there’, allegedly a reference to Westminster crawling with child molesters. After I began writing this blog, I received an e mail from a retired Director of Social Services in England who told me that David Tombs had for years colluded with child abuse in high places and only went public recently when he feared that it was all going to unravel. The social work academic Peter Righton, who in his published work promoted sex between adults and children, lived in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Social Services area (see previous posts). When Ronnie Waterhouse retired, he bought a house in Herefordshire; he was living there by the time that the Waterhouse Inquiry began. Morris le Fleming, one of the panel members for the Waterhouse Inquiry, had previously worked for the Hereford and Worcestershire Local Authorities.

Reg Ward was a ‘surprise choice’ by Secretary of State for the Environment Michael Heseltine to lead the new Docklands body on its inception in 1980 and for nine months was the only member of staff during its “shadow period” of operation. However this period ‘gave Reg the opportunity to walk extensively through Docklands, drawing pictures of the old warehouses and imagining what possible redevelopments could take place’. A story told by ex LDDC staffers was that Reg’s first work for the organisation took place using a bucket for a seat and an old upturned tea chest as a desk.

Tea chests virtually died out many years ago, but I’ll tell you who had lots and lots of tea chests in his houses – Dafydd. I have no idea what was in them, but Dafydd had tea chests everywhere long after they had largely disappeared off the face of the earth.

It is alleged that there were no concrete ideas regarding how the Docklands should be developed when Ward was appointed. Ward’s wiki entry tells us that ‘Ward’s genius was to be open to new ideas, and to seize opportunities which came along, rather than to create reports and paperwork. Ward said if he had created some grand plan…”we would still be debating and nothing would have got built. Instead, we have gone for an organic, market-driven approach, responding pragmatically to each situation.”‘

Ward invited Michael von Clemm of Credit Suisse First Boston to Docklands to look for a site for a food factory. When von Clemm suggested that the Canary Wharf site might be suitable for offices to house bank trading floors, Ward ‘leapt upon the idea and helped sell it to Gov’t’.

At the LDDC, Reg Ward was responsible for progressing the ideas of Docklands Light Railway, London City Airport, Canary Wharf and he helped Iain Shearer on the ExCeL Exhibition Centre.

Ward’s ‘forthright style’ did not sit well with his colleagues in central Gov’t, in particular Nicholas Ridley, who replaced Heseltine as the Secretary of State for the Environment in 1986. Ward had a total disregard for Civil Service protocol and rules and Ward is said to have once avoided answering phone calls from the Secretary of State for several days because he knew that the call was to say that one of his road projects would be cancelled.

Ward was eased out of his job shortly after the deal on Canary Wharf was signed. However, he is now viewed as the main driver in Gov’t behind the development of London Docklands. Reg Ward went on to work in Barcelona and Sydney on major regeneration projects before being appointed to head the regeneration of St Kitts in the Caribbean. In his later years, Reg ran his own consultancy company and was a regular contributor to debates on urban regeneration and the future of the Thames Gateway.

Ward’s wife Betty pre-deceased him in early 2010. They had two children.

Ward’s Torygraph obituary in Jan 2011 stated that: ‘Ward put Docklands on the map with a cheeky advertising campaign…and a rumbustious approach to getting things done that brooked little role for Left-wing neighbouring boroughs, or indeed for Whitehall protocol. Within five years Ward and his equally ebullient chairman, Sir Nigel Broackes, had confounded LDDC’s critics by achieving a remarkable transformation of one of the most run-down areas in Britain, turning 8.5 square miles of dereliction into a place where people wanted to live and work. His admirers have even claimed that London would never have won the bid for the 2012 Olympic Games had not Ward battled vigorously for better transport links in the East End.

Tessa Jowell was famously given responsibility for the 2012 Olympics and it involved a serious cock-up with security. The bunch of shysters which are G4S were given the contract, having screwed up so many huge Gov’t contracts on previous occasions and true to form, G4S couldn’t fulfil the contract and therefore the British Army were brought in to do the job.

The 2012 Olympics were kicked off with that over-the-top display of All That Is Good About Britain which featured a tribute to the NHS, in which Peter Pan-themed Angels bounced up and down on giant beds with their young patients. I did notice that the bad news NHS stories which I knew were in the pipeline didn’t see the light of day until that hackneyed rubbish had passed. Who was behind that opening scene? Danny Boyle. Danny Boyle was at the time the most hyped graduate of UCNW (Bangor University) (see previous posts). Danny studied at UCNW in the mid-1970s, when UCNW was completely under the control of Dafydd’s gang, who at the time of the 2012 Olympics had unlawfully detained me – yet again – in Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

‘Ward’s greatest achievement was to persuade hard-nosed City and property investors that Docklands revival was going to work. By 1986, the LDDC had spent around £300m of public money, but had succeeded in attracting £1.4 billion in private investment.

His approach was to seize opportunities whenever and wherever they arose. When the American banker Michael von Clemm visited West India Docks looking for a factory site, he became interested instead in the idea of building offices. Ward jumped on this and the resulting scheme became the Canary Wharf development. After several hiccups a contract was eventually signed with Paul Reichman, of the Canadian property developers Olympia and York, in 1987. “You could say that Docklands is a ‘happening’, a happy coincidence of opportunity and accident,” Ward explained.“There have been no master plans or detailed development frameworks.”

But Ward’s style was controversial. The Greater London Council under Ken Livingstone refused to acknowledge the LDDC’s existence and the affected boroughs were furious at having an unelected body within their midst that had sole authority for planning approval. Within the Isle of Dogs Enterprise Zone the LDDC could do virtually whatever it wanted – including offering generous tax breaks to developers…’

Red Ken would have loved to have chucked a spanner in the works of the LDDC, but he couldn’t blow the whistle on Bob Mellish and his mates sending all those kids in care to a trafficking gang in north Wales, because Ken and his accomplices at the GLC were colluding with Dafydd’s gang as well (see previous posts).

‘Moreover, the LDDC faced growing criticism that local people had not benefited from the new development. Unemployment in the area remained above the national average, and beyond the shiny new office blocks, deprivation and grim housing continued to be the norm. Local residents led rallies in protest at the noise, pollution and lack of job opportunities.’

These were the Common People who’s interests Bob Mellish and his crew only ever had at heart.

‘Ward remained unrepentant, protesting that if there had been some grand plan, “we would still be debating and nothing would have got built. Instead, we have gone for an organic, market-driven approach, responding pragmatically to each situation.” A sense of local identity, he argued, could only emerge once the buildings were up.’

I am a little suspicious of the notion that the Docklands development was ‘organic’ and just sort of grew spontaneously as Reg jotted down a few ideas on the upturned tea chest. We are talking millions and millions of public money here and it is interesting to see what exactly sprung up at Docklands. It was a global centre for banking, which I suspect is rather what Thatcher wanted in London. Furthermore, it is now many years since the development of Docklands. I have heard of no sense of local identity existing down there, in fact doesn’t Docklands boast that it is highly cosmopolitan? One of the most cosmopolitan places in the world? You don’t see many Pearly Kings hanging around Canary Wharf. Or many Nans.

‘Ward stepped down from the job of chief executive in September 1987, shortly after signing the contract for the development of Canary Wharf. Though he was held in great regard by those who worked for him, one commentator observed, “the corns he has stepped on would fill more shoes than even Imelda Marcos possessed”….

While Michael Heseltine was a great admirer of his gung-ho approach (as, apparently, was the Duke of Edinburgh), Nicholas Ridley, who became Environment Secretary in 1986, was less enthusiastic….’

The Duke of Edinburgh is not someone known for his sense of local identity, in fact he is famous for managing to be mixed race, an immigrant and a racist old bastard all at once.

‘In 2004 Ward and his wife Betty celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a lunchtime party at their home in Stow-on-the-Wold attended by many of the LDDC’s original staff….’

I don’t know who went to the knees-up but it won’t have been the cleaners who scuttle around Docklands in the small hours in return for a pittance. Stow-on-the-Wold is a Pretty Place In The Cotswolds. At one time the Cotswolds contained a lot of poor people who worked on farms.

The above resident of the Cotswolds grew up in Cheshire while Dafydd’s gang, including Sir Peter Morrison, were busy there. The President of Morrisons Constituency Conservative Party, the Duke of Westminster – a close friend of Carlo – lived on his estate just down the road. This Cotswolds resident later married an actor who starred in East Enders. Some of the East Enders cast support the work of the Mildmay, the HIV/AIDS centre which sprang up in Shoreditch in the mid 1980s. The Mildmay was founded by NHS staff and politicians who were concealing the activities of Dafydd’s gang and remained schtum when the Mildmay functioned as a hospice for the rent boys controlled by Dafydd’s gang when they began dying of AIDS. Here’s a bit more detail regarding the mind-blowing success which was Canary Wharf:

After Michael von Clemm came up with the idea to convert Canary Wharf into a back office, it was further discussions with G Ware Travelstead which led to proposals for a new business district and included the LDDC developing the Docklands Light Railway. The project was sold to the Canadian company Olympia & Yorke and construction began in 1988, master-planned by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill with Yorke Rosenberg Mardall as their UK advisers and subsequently by Koetter Kim. The first buildings were completed in 1991, including 1 Canada Square, which became the UK’s tallest building at the time and a symbol of the regeneration of Docklands.

Londres 097..jpg

Canary Wharf Skyline 2, London UK - Oct 2012.jpg

By the time that 1 Canada Square had opened, the London commercial property market had collapsed and Olympia and York Canary Wharf Limited filed for bankruptcy in May 1992.

‘£300 million of public money’ was ‘invested’ in the LDDC…

Initially, the City of London saw Canary Wharf as an existential threat. It modified its planning laws to expand the provision of new offices in the City of London, for example, creating offices above railway stations (Blackfriars) and roads (Albans Gate). The resulting oversupply of office space contributed to the failure of the Canary Wharf project.

In Oct 1995, an international consortium that included investors such as Alwaleed, bought control for $1.2 billion. Paul Reichmann was named Chairman and Canary Wharf went public in 1999. The new company was called Canary Wharf Limited and later became Canary Wharf Group.

In 1997, some residents living on the Isle of Dogs launched a lawsuit against Canary Wharf Ltd for private nuisance because the tower interfered with TV signals. The residents lost the case.

Storm over foul-mouthed BBC comedy Catherine Tate's Nan ...

Recovery in the property market generally, coupled with continuing demand for large floorplate Grade A office space, slowly improved the level of interest. A critical event in the recovery was the much-delayed start of work on the Jubilee Line Extension, which Miranda’s Gov’t wanted ready for the Millennium Dome celebrations.

Readers may remember that there was chaos at the Millennium Celebrations, because of problems with the Jubilee Line Extension. It didn’t get people to the Dome and New Labour politicians and spin doctors were at each other’s throats. Lilibet really didn’t look as though she was enjoying herself when they all did the countdown to midnight either.

In March 2004, Canary Wharf Group plc was taken over by a consortium of investors, backed by its largest shareholder Glick Family Investments and led by Morgan Stanley using a vehicle named Songbird Estates plc.

There were media reports yesterday stating that Cameron wants to make a political come-back, possibly as Foreign Secretary. ‘Private Eye’ had a great time with their ‘Lord Snooty and His Pals’ column when Cameron was PM. In 2009, when Cameron was Leader of the Opposition, the Torygraph published an article comparing him to Lord Snooty, a ‘toff’ befriending the poor. However, the Torygraph questioned whether Cameron was the original Lord Snooty, a pleasant boy wanting the best for his friends, or Lord Snooty the Third, a creation of ‘The Beano’ in 2008, a ‘repulsive’ boy who laughs at those less fortunate. Lord Snooty the Third was the grandson of Lord Snooty and had a butler called Parkinson.

I remember him well:

I think that it was Yvette Cooper who pertinently commented that Cameron has done quite enough damage already. Sadly Yvette, I suspect that Lord Snooty the Third’s arrival in the House some 17 years ago was a good deal more sinister than that of an entitled twat thinking that he had a right to be PM. When Lord Snooty the Third was beginning his upward climb, I think it was Conservative Central Office who were said to have received a phone call from Buck House telling them that they were about to meet a ‘most remarkable young man’. Then when Cameron became Tory leader, the Daddy of the LDDC, Heseltine, gave an interview to a broadsheet explaining that Call Me Dave would be gweat as PM and that the first time that Heseltine met Camewon, Camewon was unconscious on Heseltine’s floor, suffering from the after-effects of a party thrown by Heseltine’s nauseating daughter, Annabel, a pal of Dave’s.

Heseltine knew about the paedophile ring in north Wales/Cheshire, he knew what they were doing to my friends and I and he tried to gain as much political capital from it as possible (see previous posts eg. ‘Those Who Are Ready To Serve’ and ‘A Legend Lives’).

Heseltine was behind the multi-million pound fleecing of the taxpayer which was the LDDC, as well as the similar but smaller scale ‘regeneration’ scams eg. the development of Cardiff Bay (see post ‘Corruption Bay Special’). Heseltine personally appointed crooks like Bob Mellish and Reg Wade to the most senior roles on the LDDC. Would anyone, looking at what was going on in Southwark Borough Council, have put Bob Mellish in charge of anything???

Another consideration re Lord Snooty the Third’s rise to the very top of the Tory Party and the associated boosts from the Old Guard: Cameron’s dad Ian was Chairman of White’s Club.

Being a courtier is a long-term commitment. Dame Mary was cluttering up Buck House for decades, throughout the many happy years when Morrison was molesting kids in care in north Wales, when Dafydd was illegally imprisoning victims of the paedophile gang in the Denbigh Dungeon and when other victims were found dead.

Carlo and Prince William are members of White’s.

Lord Snooty the Third was elected as the MP for Witney in June 2001. The year after the Waterhouse Report was published, the month after I qualified as a teacher and just as Dafydd’s gang began yet another all-out attack on me in their desperation to ensure that anything that I said would never be taken seriously. I have a lot more evidence that I haven’t yet put up on this blog Snooty III and some of it leads to you and your network.

Snooty III’s mother was a magistrate in Oxford. There was a long-standing abuse ring in Oxford and some of Dafydd’s associates – including Profs Mark Williams, from Bangor University and Tom Burns, from St George’s Hospital Medical School – rocked up with Chairs at Oxford in the wake of me adding to Alison Taylor’s whistleblowing. See previous posts for the names of the many people who colluded with Dafydd’s gang who ended up with jobs at Oxford.

Lord Snooty the Third became Tory Party Leader in Dec 2005. Just a few months after I’d been awarded my PhD and when all-out war was declared upon my PhD supervisor and the VC of Bangor University. Miranda was involved, as was Gordon Brown – and so was Snooty III.

It was Snooty III who on 4 Sept 2012 appointed David Jones MP as Secretary of State for Wales, just as the crucial decisions regarding the Macur Review of the Waterhouse Inquiry were being taken by Gov’t. David Jones is a solicitor from north Wales who spent years sharing a practice with the crooked solicitor Elwyn Jones, Elwyn Jones being responsible for wrecking the life of patient F, another victim of Dafydd’s gang who dared tell people that he knew that kids in care in north Wales were being abused (see eg. post ‘How Much Greater Is A Man Than A Sheep?’). Before that, David Jones shared a practice with Ieuan Wyn Jones, another bent solicitor from north Wales, who also shafted Dafydd’s victims, as did Ieuan’s wife, Eirian Llwyd and and even Ieuan’s father (see previous posts). David Jones is a big pal of Tory MP Antoinette Sandbach, who’s family are landowners from north Wales and concealed the wrongdoing of Dafydd and the gang (see previous posts). For the full sordid details of David Jones, see post ‘The Right Honourable David Jones MP’.

As for Snooty being a ‘most remarkable young man’ – Que?? Cameron was Norman Lamont’s adviser in the period leading up to Black Wednesday, 16 Sept 1992.

You big twat Snooty, you really should not have built your career on the back of concealing Dafydd’s gang. Just retreat into your shepherd’s hut and stay there, along with your dipstick of a wife, who is related to a few more who concealed the wrongdoing of Dafydd et al in previous generations (see previous posts).

It was Snooty who appointed Theresa as Home Secretary; Theresa who served as a Merton Borough Councillor, 1986-94, on the patch of the paedophile gang that was facilitated by St George’s Hospital Medical School/Springfield Hospital/Wandsworth Social Services. Theresa then appointed Lady Justice Julia Macur to conduct the Review of Waterhouse. Julia produced yet another heavily redacted cover-up of a Report.

I know someone from Bethesda who met Snooty III when he was still Leader of the Opposition. It was a teenager who used to live in the same village as me. She was the daughter of the first wife of patient F who had his life destroyed by Dafydd’s gang. Radio 1 held a phone-in competition and the prize was a trip to London to meet Lord Snooty the Third. The teenager won the competition and the BBC sent a posh car up to Bethesda to collect her. She hadn’t told her mum anything about any of it and cheerily got into the BBC car and went off to London where she was filmed talking to Lord Snooty the Third about climate change. Hilarious, WW III had broken out in Bethesda, because the BBC didn’t realise that the prize winner was under 16 and no-one even knew that she was in London meeting Snooty until everyone saw the media reports…

I thought that it was fantastic, but Brown said that he imagined that the BBC had kittens when they realised what they had done.

Perhaps the most important People’s Champ in sahf London with regard to Dafydd’s gang hitting the big time was John Vincent Tilley. Tilley was born and raised in Derby. There was a long-standing trafficking ring in Derby with links to Dafydd’s gang. Staff were exchanged between the two gangs and I suspect that the reason why the Top Doctors refused to provide treatment for the alcoholism of Kevin Lloyd – the actor from ‘the Bill’ – which resulted in his death, was because of his knowledge of organised abuse in Derbyshire, as well as that of linked gangs. Kevin’s brother Terry was a ITN journo who also died in unfortunate circumstances in 2003. See post ‘That’s Entertainment’. Kevin and Terry’s father was a police officer from North Wales who relocated to Derbyshire. He was killed in an unfortunate accident when his sons were young. Kevin died as the result of being abandoned and left to stew by the Top Doctors in May 1998. Midway through the Waterhouse Inquiry.

John Jillings, who led the team which carried out the Jillings Investigation and wrote the Jillings Report, was the retired Director of Social Services for Derbyshire. Jillings stated that dreadful abuse of children in north Wales had gone on for decades, probably as far back as the 1940s, but refused to comment on whether a paedophile ring with links to other areas of the UK was at work.
John Tilley read history at Trinity Hall, Cambridge. He then became a journalist at the ‘Newcastle Journal’. There was a trafficking gang in the North East with links to Dafydd, which sent the gang in north Wales staff and children. Tilley moved to London as industrial and later diplomatic, correspondent of ‘The Scotsman’.
In 1971, Tilley was elected to Wandsworth Council, where he became Council Leader. Not only were Wansdworth Social Services facilitating a trafficking gang, but Donald Naismith, the Director of Education for Wandsworth, was an active paedophile who was known to be abusing kids in care. See previous posts.
John Tilley was chosen by the Labour Party as their candidate in the by-election in Lambeth Central in 1978, which was caused by the death of the Labour MP Marcus Lipton. Jim Callaghan was Leader (and PM) by then, but Tilley had previously stood for election as a Labour candidate when Harold Wilson was Leader. There was a terrible problem with the abuse of children in Lambeth children’s homes and furthermore Lambeth was yet another Borough trading with Dafydd’s gang. Numerous children from Lambeth were sent to north Wales children’s homes. Tessa Jowell worked as a children’s social worker for Lambeth – Tessa also worked as a psychiatric social worker at the Maudsley and was Deputy Director of MIND when both the Maudsley and MIND were run by Dafydd’s mates who colluded with him – and Paul Boateng’s wife Janet was a Lambeth social worker. Janet was also a Lambeth Councillor and Chaired the Social Services Committee when Tyra Henry died in the Care of Lambeth in 1984. Esther Rantzen’s sister Priscilla Taylor worked as a social worker for Lambeth and Esther subsequently appointed Priscilla’s boss Valerie Howarth as CEO of ChildLine. Paul Boateng was a solicitor working for Birnberg & Co when that firm acted for Mary Wynch in her litigation against Dafydd and the gang. See previous posts for further details…
The Labour Party would have needed a very safe pair of hands to take over from Marcus Lipton, particularly as by 1978 and at the time under the leadership of Lesbian Feminist Black Woman Linda Bellos (see previous posts), Lambeth Borough Council were a laughing stock and the Labour Party feared that it would have a real battle on its hands at the by-election. They selected the best. John Tilley won and the abuse of children in the care of Lambeth continued apace on an even greater scale, both in Lambeth and in north Wales and John Tilley didn’t utter a word.
John Tilley served on Labour’s Opposition front bench, but resigned in 1982 over Michael Foot’s support for the Falklands War. As MP for the Brixton area, Tilley worked with Lord Scarman after the 1981 Brixton Riots ‘for a better understanding of social problems’.
It was John Tilley who proposed a bill to amend the Sexual Offences (Amendment) Act 1976 to make rape in marriage illegal in 1983, Tilley being someone who Spoke Out and took a firm line on sexual violence.
John Tilley was a founding member of the Socialist Campaign Group in 1982, which was packed with Labour Party Radicals who said not a word about Dafydd and the associated gangs but who undoubtedly knew about them.
By 1982, Mary Wynch was on her way to the Master of the Rolls regarding the activities of Dafydd and the gang and Dafydd et al were sending up distress flares.
Tilley’s constituency seat was abolished for the 1983 General Election and he was selected to fight Southwark and Bermondsey instead. The Liberal Simon Hughes had won the seat in the by-election earlier that year by keeping quiet about Dafydd’s gang, about Bob Mellish and his appalling corruption and condoning the homophobic abuse directed at Peter Tatchell, although Hughes was having gay relationships himself. Hughes held the seat until 2010. See post ‘The Battle For The Labour Party’s Soul’. Tilley never returned to Parliament. Not that Tilley was put out of action.
Tilley subsequently worked as Chief Economic Adviser to the London Borough of Hackney, which was one of the Boroughs busy with Dafydd’s people trafficking arrangement. John Tilley spent 11 years as Parliamentary Secretary to the Co-operative Union. From 2000 to 2002, he headed the Parliamentary office of the Co-operative Group.
Tilley’s first marriage ended in divorce, after a daughter, Cleo. He married again in 1982 to Kathryn Riley, a Brixton teacher and Labour activist, who was later appointed a Professor at the Institute of Education, University of London, where she retains that post. They had a daughter, Jo. John Tilley died of cancer in 2005.
Fattersley wrote an obituary for John Tilley in ‘The Guardian’. Fattersley told us that:
‘For two years in the early 1980s, John Tilley and I worked together as members of the Labour opposition’s Home Office shadow team…’
Well there’s an admission from Fattersley. Fattersley was of course the MP for Sparkbrook in Birmingham, 1964-97 and knew that kids in care in the West Midlands were being abused and placed in children’s homes in north Wales where they were abused. Fattersley also knew about the corrupt-as-fuck West Midlands Serious Crime Squad – who fitted up Ali Khan from Caernarfon as well as the Birmingham Six and many others – but poor old Fattersley was keen that Labour should not be seen as anti-police, so he ignored all of this. See previous posts.
After all, from 1983 to 1992, Fattersley and the Windbag were the ‘dream ticket’, while one half of the dream ticket was bestest mates with the man who ensured that Dafydd’s empire in south Landon grew bigger and bigger.
Gotcha
The Windbag has always blamed Labour’s failure to win power throughout the 1980s on the activities of the ‘loony left’, people like Linda Bellos and Ted Knight, the man who succeeded her as Leader of Lambeth Borough Council. They didn’t help, but just look at what was going on among Labour’s old guard: a water-tight arrangement that allowed Dafydd to run a trafficking gang which expanded into Europe.
‘Tilley…dealt with every difficulty with the calm certainty that characterised a man of principle…’
Well that’s one euphemism for a man who colluded with a murderous people trafficking gang.
‘The incident I remember best occurred during the committee stage of the nationality bill. During one, not very important, impromptu speech, I referred to “British subjects”. He asked for a word outside. “For heaven’s sake,” he said, “not British subjects. British citizens. That is what we are arguing for. The rights of citizenship.’
Targeted by Dafydd et al? No rights at all I’m afraid, we had no citizenship rights because the Windbag wanted to be PM and after Mary Wynch began her legal action, the whole of the political class got together and stuck together.
‘It was during that time that Tilley struck up a fruitful – but in some ways unlikely – partnership with Lord Scarman (obituary, December 10 2004), author of the inquiry into the 1981 Brixton riots. Their mutual admiration was the result of the passion they shared for creating a genuinely multiracial society.’
No Fattersley, Mary Wynch was putting the wind up the whole rotten corpse, including the corrupt judiciary who for years colluded with Dafydd and the Westminster Paedophile Ring. You all began making friends with each other, despite the many civil wars being conducted and poor old Di was the Royal Family’s idea of a bit of PR because they too were involved in this.
  • PRINCESS DIANA

Di crashed on 31 Aug 1997. Anyone remember what Ronnie Waterhouse was going in Aug 1997? He and numerous lawyers at the Waterhouse Inquiry were calling the victims of a murderous criminal gang a bunch of liars. In Aug 1997, Dafydd, Tony Francis et al were still beavering away with a great many others on The Final Solution re me, ie. planting evidence and carefully documenting things that had never happen in preparation for a case conference – to be held in complete secret of course – that would conclude that I was so phenomenally dangerous that I should be sent to Broadmoor to live with Mr Savile.
‘In the days immediately following the disturbances, Tilley took Scarman round Brixton and helped him to understand what life was really like for the people living there. As its author gladly confirmed, the report was undoubtedly better for John’s illustrations of the area’s social conditions…’
Tilley kept those witnesses to Dafydd and the gang out of the way during that Tour of North Korea.
‘He…entered the Commons as an acknowledged member of London’s municipal left; he had strong reservations about some aspects of the Callaghan government’s policies, but he never doubted the importance of Labour gaining – and retaining – power to achieve the objectives which he regarded as its purpose…’
Yes, they were really bloody desperate. Mary didn’t begin her legal action until after 1979, but her battle with Dafydd and the gang was well underway by the time that John Tilley entered the Commons; she wasn’t unlawfully imprisoned until 1978 because she went on the run and it took them a while to find her…
Labour did gain power – eventually, once the Windbag and all traces of him had been erased – and Miranda and then Gordon in his wake made efforts as heroic as any of those before them to conceal the mountain of crap relating to Dafydd and the gang.
‘… the effects of the Tatchell byelection – one of the dirtiest campaigns in modern political history – were too much to overcome. In the 1983 general election, Tilley lost and parliament was denied a man who would have made a continued contribution to the democratic life of multiracial Britain.’
Fattersley has forgotten to mention that the dirt thrown at Tatchell in the by-election was thrown by other members of the Labour Party, deeply corrupt members, who were sending disadvantaged kids to north Wales where they were sexually assaulted at gunpoint. There was nothing democratic about John Tilley.
Tony Belton added to Fattersley’s obituary: ‘John Tilley and his first wife, Tracey, appeared on the south London political scene in 1966 at a St Mary Park ward meeting in Battersea – and found themselves in the middle of a maelstrom. They lived at 25 Bullen Street, part of a ramshackle Victorian terrace, which many, including leading municipal politicians, considered to be a slum. The future of the Home Road area became one of several issues John was to get involved with, the other major controversies being about Battersea’s halfway houses: the Dickensian Durham Buildings and Victoria Dwellings.
John was part of the St Mary Park team organising marches, press campaigns and lobbying. Then, in 1968, he threw himself into the ward local election campaign. Despite a Tory landslide in Wandsworth and across the country, this marginal ward became one of only four that Labour won that day.
The St Mary Park team stuck together and, within a dozen years, seven of them were members of the radical Wandsworth council; two, including John, were to become council leaders, and others became committee chairmen.
So they were responsible for the growth of the trafficking ring in Wandsworth, which thanks to the presence of Professor Oliver Brooke who worked down the road at St George’s Hospital, in the 1980s was a key part of Dafydd’s pan-European paedophile ring.
John Tilley was one of the main people behind Dafydd’s gang’s London branch and Tilley had been involved from the very beginning. In 1968 when Tilley ‘threw himself’ into local politics, John Allen took out a 21 yr lease on the property which would become the Bryn Alyn Community and would house children from 42 different local authorities.
Only two months ago, John confessed to me that the most fulfilling part of his political life had been that period from 1966-78…’
Business boomed! Furthermore, ‘the most fulfilling part’ of Tilley’s political life pretty much reflects the rise and fall of Harold Wilson. I bet that Tilley could have told us why Wilson made that shock resignation as PM in 1976…
‘As the organisational genius behind the Wandsworth team…’
Shouldn’t that read ‘behind the criminal gang’?
‘…he was not always the most immediately approachable of men, perhaps because beneath the surface there was a rather shy working-class boy.’
Not really an absolute bastard, John Tilley was just so shy and working-class that he simply gave the impression of being one…
‘He did, however, have a wicked sense of humour…’
I pissed myself laughing when Dafydd’s gang murdered my housemate, tried to murder Brown and then killed my friend’s baby! Then there were all those times that they perjured themselves, had me arrested and tried to ensure that I ended up in prison! As for all those jobs from which they had me sacked, it was a laugh a minute…
His formal, as opposed to social, contacts with Wandsworth and Battersea finished in 1978 but in this last year a project he has been much involved in was a history project about Battersea, where his interest in working-class movements came very much to the fore.’
The Man Of The People remained mates with them all at Wandsworth and Battersea long after he left political life then. Which is hardly surprising, they’d have all ended up in prison if they hadn’t have all stuck together and formed a tight bond with politicians from all other parties with regard to concealing exactly the same wrongdoing. Being a student of working-class movements, John Tilley would have noticed that it is a very long time since Wandsworth and Battersea were populated by working-class people. Those areas are choc full of middle-class professionals who have out-priced everyone else; Wandsworth was and is a popular residential location for the staff of St George’s Hospital. Michael Mansfield QC, the Radical Lawyer who knew about Dafydd’s gang but kept quiet even when I wrote to him about them in 1993 (see previous posts), lived in Wandsworth.
John Tilley pegged out the month that Cameron became Leader of the Tory Party!
So admired for his Principles was John Tilley that Tam Dalyell also wrote an obituary, which appeared in the Indie:
‘John Vincent Tilley, journalist and politician: born Derby 13 June 1941; member, Wandsworth Borough Council 1971-78; MP (Labour) for Lambeth Central 1978-83; chief economic adviser, London Borough of Hackney 1983-88; Parliamentary Secretary to the Co-operative Union 1998-99; Head of the Parliamentary Office, Co- operative Group 2000-02; twice married (two daughters); died London 18 December 2005.
..there is little to match a shared adversity to the prevailing view within a political party in bringing together MPs who might not otherwise be close colleagues. Apart from canvassing with John Tilley in the crucial by-election in Lambeth in 1978, in which he triumphed in the most difficult circumstances, when the government majority had dwindled to minus one, I had scarcely talked to him since he had been industrial correspondent of The Scotsman newspaper in the early 1970s. That changed in April 1982 as we both stridently opposed the Falklands War. Thus we incurred the displeasure of the party leader Michael Foot and the wrath of some senior members of the Parliamentary Labour Party who had committed themselves to supporting Margaret Thatcher’s military reaction to the Argentine occupation of the Falklands.

Tilley’s stance was particularly admirable. After only four years in the Commons he was already on the front bench and was making his mark in the strong Home Affairs Opposition team, powerfully led by Roy Hattersley. But for Tilley, principle took place over parliamentary advancement. Moreover, unlike a number of opponents on the left, he had really thought through the issues and had mastered the detail, both military and diplomatic.
In fact, had Tilley survived the boundary redistribution in which his constituency, Lambeth Central, was abolished in 1983, I believe he would have become one of the major figures of the Labour Party. This was also the opinion of Hattersley, who came from a very different wing of the party than Tilley’s London-left background.
It didn’t matter that Tilley and Fattersley came from ‘different wings’ of the party. Tilley was the main organiser of the London arm of a massive trafficking ring, with which Fattersley and the rest of them at the top of the Labour Party were colluding.
‘Tilley was born in Derby and had happy memories of his boyhood. He was taken to football matches by his father, who worked in engineering both for Rolls-Royce and for the railway workshops, when Derby County was one of the great forces in English club football. The Baseball Ground in Derby was an unusually compact stadium where the physical circumstances engendered tremendous togetherness. Tilley told me that his passionate belief in community and collective action was conceived, perhaps, in a curious way, at those early football matches.
From grammar school he won a scholarship to Trinity Hall, Cambridge, where he read History. His first job in 1968 was with a Newcastle journal and in 1970 he became industrial correspondent, based in London, of The Scotsman. It is often the case that local MPs develop very close relations with correspondents covering their own area, and thus it was for me and Tilley – my area contained the huge British Motor Corporation truck and tractor division at Bathgate which was then the largest concentration of machine tools under one roof in Europe.
Both Members of Parliament and members of the Joint Shop Stewards Committee received a very fair hearing from Tilley. However, as James Naughtie, his former colleague on the Scotsman and now presenter of the BBC Radio 4 Today programme…’

Now there’s a pearl of information – Tilley had a mate on Radio 4’s main daily news programme, a programme with a strong political angle…
…says: “It was difficult for John, we thought, to combine both the labour and industrial correspondent position of The Scotsman in London with that of the leadership of the Wandsworth Council.” Tilley had been elected as a councillor for Battersea in 1968, winning the ward against the trend in that year’s Tory landslide. He was made council leader by 1971.
So while Tilley was in south London and organising politically there he landed a job as a journo in Newcastle, on the patch of the gang which fed Dafydd’s gang both staff and children. Then Tilley worked on Scotland’s principal broadsheet while he was busy in Wandsworth with Dafydd’s London paedophile gang. Throughout it all, John Tilley was making friends with influential people in the London-based media.
Matt Arnold and Peter Howarth, two friends and colleagues who worked at Axwell Park Approved School in Gateshead, relocated to Bryn Estyn in 1973. Howarth was jailed for the sexual abuse of kids in care in north Wales in July 1994. Matt Arnold died of an ‘unspecified blood disease’ on 9 June 1994. Howarth’s trial began on 13 June 1994.
Arnold became Head of Bryn Estyn in May 1973, after the previous Head Peter Burton, along with his wife and seven-year-old son, were killed in a road traffic accident near Crewe, Cheshire in March 1973. The Deputy headmaster of Bryn Estyn was also killed in the accident. Peter Burton had taken over as Head of Bryn Estyn after the previous Head, David Ursell, was suspended in 1972 following a number of complaints regarding the way that he instilled discipline at Bryn Estyn Approved School. The inquiry into David Ursell began on 15 March 1971. Ursell himself had taken over as Head in 1967, after the previous Head, Harold Bennett, retired after 26 years.
So the action at Bryn Estyn began in earnest when John Tilley became Leader of Wandsworth Council.
“John had an understanding of the kind of development which was going on in the trade union and industrial world,” Naughtie says. In journalistic terms, we thought that he had accurate and good stories and he was certainly rigorous. He understood as a practitioner how politics actually worked. He also had the capacity to stand back and see, on occasion, what was happening as absurd.
In 1974, Tilley was chosen to stand in the hopeless seat of Kensington & Chelsea. He was then “rewarded”, if that is the right word, by being handed what many thought was the poisoned chalice of an extremely difficult by-election in central Lambeth in 1978. However, to the delight and relief of the Labour Party, he got 15,101 votes, to the 9,125 for Jeremy Hanley, later chairman of the Conservative Party, with the Liberal picking up 2,339, the National Front 830, and Corin Redgrave for the Workers Party 152.’
The People Champ and Trafficker won the day. The Redgrave Revolutionaries knew something about organised abuse as did Jeremy Hanley, who also knew all about Peter Morrison and openly took the piss out of Morrison’s gay ways and penchant for young boys (see previous posts)…
‘No MP could have had a warmer baptism of fire in his constituency. In 1981 came the Brixton riots. Tilley had the great good sense to form a friendship with the distinguished High Court judge Lord Scarman, who was appointed to conduct an inquiry into the riots…’
A friendship with a High Court judge? In particular Lord Scarman, a towering figure. Yes, Dafydd’s gang excelled at expressing ‘great good sense’ in that way. I find Lord Scarman’s friendship with a mate of Dafydd’s so worrying that I’ll be blogging more about Scarman soon. The Scarman who was loved by liberal society and was the subject of many a column in ‘The Guardian’ re his Wisdom And Humanity and ability to Heal Rifts In Society.
‘Tilley’s parliamentary interests mostly centred on London and I will never forget his informed speech of 9 February 1979, made in an adjournment debate initiated by his friend Albert Stallard (now Lord Stallard). He said “South-east London, including the Borough of Lambeth . . . is known to have a high proportion of men and women who are in desperate need of help with the problem of alcoholism. Anyone who knows the area must be aware of the large number of people who live, or barely exist, on those streets, usually with inadequate clothing and food and often sleeping rough in all weathers.”
Most of the homeless alcoholics at that time were former psych patients and of them, a great many were former kids in care. Affluent people of course do end up with drink problems, but they usually have enough of a cushion not to end up on the streets. That is the treat that Empowered Service Users have in store for them. Furthermore Dafydd was the alcohol and drug abuse ‘expert’ in north Wales for decades and indeed he still is, at the age of nearly 90. Dafydd’s charidee CAIS has the contract to provide ‘substance abuse and alcohol services’ across the whole of north Wales and he’s branched out across the rest of Wales as well.
Dafydd learnt his techniques for the treatment of alcoholics at the knee of the Master, namely David Davies at the Maudsley. David Davies was the Dean of the Institute of Psychiatry/Maudsley, 1950-66 and had a reputation for admitting staff and students to the Institute of Psychiatry/Maudsley on the basis of very unsound rationale. Davies was Dean when Dafydd was admitted to and ‘trained’ at the Maudsley.
In 1962 Davies’s ‘international reputation in this field [alcoholism] was borne overnight’ when Davies published a short paper on seven alcohol addicts who all allegedly returned to normal drinking. This was a ‘revolutionary claim’ because until then it had been believed that ‘once an alcoholic always an alcoholic’. There was a snag though. Not only did subsequent research suggest that some of Davies’ s findings ‘were faulty’, but not all of his sample were alcohol dependent. So Davies drew erroneous conclusions from a sample of seven some of whom didn’t fit the sampling criteria – thus was his international reputation established overnight.

On the basis of his international reputation, Davies then set up the Alcohol Education Centre – which was, for reasons unexplained, ‘short lived’ – and became the President of the Society for the Study of Addiction as well as a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Addiction.

For more info on the grandiose idiot which was David Davies, as well as his colleagues, see post ‘The Discovery Of A Whole New Galaxy…’

Dafydd set up CAIS in 1977 and at the time stated that CAIS wasn’t about promoting abstinence, it was about normal drinking. I just presumed that was Dafydd’s excuse to carry on boozing – he was widely reputed to be an alcoholic – but obviously Dafydd was taking his cue from the centre of excellence and those with international reputations.

Tilley was one of the most eloquent of MPs in urging the government to tackle the problem of down-and-outs and also one of the most prescient in asking Parliament to pay serious attention to the drugs problem, then in its infancy…
Dafydd set up CAIS, a charidee for ‘substance users’ as well as alcoholics, the year before his mate Tilley bagged a seat in the Commons and two years before Tilley began imploring Parliament to ‘do something’ about the ‘down and outs’ and ‘addicts’. The something which Tilley will have wanted done will have involved giving Dafydd a great deal of Gov’t money.
In north Wales, once Dafydd was given total responsibility for substance abuse services, the drug dealers’ business boomed and the drugs problem in north Wales exploded. There was a very clear correlation. But then thanks to Bing Spear, the corrupt mandarin in the Home Office’s Drugs Branch, the drug problem got well out of hand in London and across the rest of the UK as well (see post ‘Little Things Hitting Each Other’). Further assistance in Wales was provided by Carwen Howell, one of the Welsh Office’s most senior civil servants with responsibility for pharmaceuticals. Carwen’s mate, a Top Doctor who also held high office in the Welsh Office, was a leading light in Soroptimist International, as was Lucille Hughes.
Previous posts eg. ‘Little Things Hitting Each Other’, ‘A Galaxy Of Talent’ and ‘The Discovery Of A Whole New Galaxy…’ detail how swathes of Top Doctors working in the area of ‘substance abuse’ did and still do little more than sell drugs to their patients and not always while taking care of their health, no matter how much they claim that attention is paid to this. Most Top Docs are absolutely not interested in treating addicts, they really do not like them, so addicts tend to be left to the mercy of the unscrupulous and crazy, such as Dafydd.
The business model in the children’s homes in north Wales was to give the kids drugs when they were very young and very silly eg. early teens, get them addicted and then get them to pay for their habit by entering the sex industry. The psy professions knew that this was happening and numerous other people who have observed that many prostitutes are only working in dangerous conditions because they are addicts also know how the sex workers became addicted, but that bit goes unmentioned.
‘Apart from supporting Roy Hattersley, who became something of a mentor as well as a great friend to his junior colleague on the front bench in the diverse but critically important Home Office legislation of the time…’

The Home Office was riddled with corruption and successive Home Secretaries colluded with Dafydd and the gang…
‘Tilley raised a host of pertinent issues. They included British nationality, school meals, asbestos dangers, inner London colleges, training opportunity schemes, fuel costs assistance and the Police Complaints Board. He was a really useful member of the House of Commons and it was Parliament’s loss that he ceased to be an MP in 1983.
From 1983 until 1988 he eked out a living in the interesting position of economic adviser to the London Borough of Hackney and between 1989 and 1999 he was Parliamentary Secretary to the Co-operative Union, ending up as head of the Parliamentary Office of the Co-operative Group. Part of his legacy is a really excellent book, Churchill’s Favourite Socialist: a life of A.V. Alexander (1995), about the wartime First Lord of the Admiralty who was one of the patron saints of the co-operative movement.’

A.V. Alexander aka Viscount Alexander was one of the Ancients who knew about organised abuse in a previous era, the abuse which involved People in Such High Places that when Dafydd came along in later years he was able to build his power base concealing it all, because so many of those involved were Elder Statesmen or Nobles and Royals who were still convincing the world that they were Different From Us (see post ‘What’s Left? The Politics Of Social Justice’). It was A.V. Alexander who gave Ralph Miliband the name of the Vice-Admiral at the Admiralty who would fix up Ralph’s entry into the Royal Navy in 1943. Ralph’s entry into the services wasn’t straightforward because Ralph was a Polish national, so Ralph asked Harold Laski at the LSE for help and Ralph subsequently received a letter from Viscount Alexander, then the First Lord of the Admiralty.
Just two ordinary boys who went to a comprehensive school and loved their Uncle Harry!

 The Great Man Thinking:
Ralph Miliband
John Tilley’s wife Kathryn Ryan is a Professor at the Institute of Education, which is now part of UCL. Ryan has also served as ‘an elected member of the Inner London Education Authority (the ILEA) and been a local authority Chief Officer’. She ‘headed up the World Bank’s Effective Schools and Teachers Group in Washington for two years’ and ‘carried out projects for UNICEF and the OECD’.
ILEA colluded with the abuse of children and many members of ILEA knew about Dafydd and associated gangs (see previous posts).  ‘Private Eye’ used to really take the piss out of ILEA – along with Gerald Kaufperson – and when the Eye had that feature ‘Clerihew Corner’ in the 1980s, someone wrote in with:
‘Frances Morrell
Has done very well
To become head of the ILEA
Without being black or working class or gay’

The Tories of ‘Private Eye’ would have known – if only because at one point the Eye employed Ronnie Waterhouse as a libel reader – that Frances Morrell could indeed have become Head of ILEA  without being black or working class or gay, but she wouldn’t have if she’d blown the whistle on Dafydd’s gang.

My favourite Clerihew, as any fule kno, was the classic ‘Sara Keays/Was Hard To Please/When She’d Been Laid/By The Minister For Trade’.

One of John Tilley’s neighbouring Lambeth MPs was Stuart Holland, Labour MP for Vauxhall, 1979-89. Holland succeeded George Strauss, who’s excesses were discussed in my post ‘The Battle For The Labour Party’s Soul’. Stuart Holland studied and taught history and political theory at Oxford University, then became an adviser to Harold Wilson on European affairs and gained the consent of Charles de Gaulle for a second British application to join the European Community. Holland resigned from 10 Downing Street when Wilson did not follow this through, including the proposal for a European Technology Community and for mutual currency support and then gained an economics PhD at Oxford. He subsequently drafted what in the early 1970s became the economic programme of the British Labour Party when researching and teaching at Sussex University.

Holland’s case for state holding companies in energy and industry led to the creation of the British National Oil Corporation and a National Enterprise Board. His proposals for regional development agencies led to the creation of the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Ireland Development Agencies and the Greater London Enterprise Board (now London Enterprise).

Holland was the Windbag’s Shadow Minister for Development Cooperation, 1983-87; drafted the 1985 Global Challenge report for the Socialist International; and led the first Labour Party delegation to China since Attlee in 1952. Holland then served as Shadow Financial Secretary to the Treasury before leaving Westminster to help Jacques Delors shape EU policies for economic and social cohesion.

Well they’ve worked a treat haven’t they.

Holland’s proposals to Delors for US New Deal style bonds to offset the deflationary Maastricht debt and deficit conditions resurfaced during the Eurozone crisis. His case to Delors on the case for a New Bretton Woods Conference was endorsed by Bill Clinton at his first G7 in Naples but not followed through by European Governments.

Holland’s more recent case that the G20 should constitute the governing body of a World Development Organization also has attracted high level interest from the Permanent Representatives to the UN of China, Japan, India, South Africa, Brazil and Mexico.

Holland earlier advice to Andreas Papandreou, backed by Francois Mitterand, prompted the first revision of the Rome Treaty, with commitments to both an internal market and to economic and social cohesion in the 1986 Single European Act.

Holland’s later advice to Portuguese PM Antonio Guterres included a cohesion and convergence remit for the European Investment Bank to invest in health, education, urban regeneration and new technology without this counting on national debt. In 1997 the European Council endorsed this as did employer and trades union representatives on the Economic and Social Committee of the EU in 2012.

In 2010, Stuart Holland co-authored A Modest Proposal with Yanis Varoufakis.

Holland resigned his Vauxhall seat in 1989 in order to take up a post at the European University Institute, Florence. He has held teaching and research posts at the universities of Oxford, Sussex, the European University Institute, the universities of Roskilde and Coimbra and has published widely on economic theory and policy, international trade, economic integration, regional theory and policy, social policies, development economics and global governance. Holland currently is a Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra and a Senior Scholar of the Institute of Social and European Studies, Köszeg, Hungary.

I presume that the many people who have been on the receiving end of Stuart Holland’s advice had no idea that for ten years between 1979 and 1989, a pan-European trafficking ring which targeted disadvantaged kids and young people in his constituency operated under his nose. Holland will have known about it, because there were constant complaints about the abuse and deaths of kids in care in Lambeth.

Here’s Stuart, looking all important:

Modest Proposal | Yanis Varoufakis

Now for John Tilley’s predecessor as Labour MP for Lambeth Central, Marcus Lipton, who held the seat when the en masse abuse in Lambeth and the trade in people with Dafydd’s gang began. Marcus Lipton was the son of Benjamin and Mary Lipton of Sunderland and was educated at Hudson Road Council School and Bede Grammar School in the town. Miranda’s mate Ernest Armstrong who was Labour MP for North West Durham, 1964-87, concealed the gang in the North East with links to Dafydd as long ago as the 1960s, when Ernest was a member of Sunderland Borough Council, by using his friendship with Tony Crosland (see post ‘The Most Dangerous Man In The World – Part III’).

Lipton won a scholarship to Merton College, Oxford. He graduated in history, then studied law and was called to the Bar at Gray’s Inn. So he knew Dafydd’s mate and umbrella Sir William Mars-Jones, a leading figure in Gray’s Inn (see previous posts). Lipton first entered politics when he contested the London County Council elections as Liberal Party candidate for the Stepney division of Mile End. In 1934 he was elected to Stepney Borough Council and then served as an alderman of Lambeth Metropolitan Borough Council, 1937-59.

Shortly before the outbreak of WWII, Lipton enlisted in the TA of the Royal Army Pay Corps. He was commissioned as an officer in the Army Educational Corps.

Lipton was elected as the MP for Brixton in 1945 and retained the seat until it was abolished at the Feb 1974 General Election. He was subsequently elected as MP for the successor seat of Lambeth Central, remaining in the Commons until his death.

Lipton used parliamentary privilege to question PM Anthony Eden about the alleged Third Man, Kim Philby. Philby used the press and the law to force Lipton to withdraw his comments, although Philby was subsequently unmasked as a Soviet spy.

So Lipton had a bit of inside knowledge that he had probably been sitting on for a long time; the most likely reason for that is that Lipton had links with the security services.

MI5: I have told you before, you really do need to amend your recruitment criteria to exclude friends of Dafydd’s.

In his last years, Lipton was often critical of the form that the pop and rock music industries had developed by the 1970s. On 2 June 1975, he attacked the “mass hysteria deliberately created by the promoters of pop concerts” following scenes at Bay City Rollers shows. Someone should have told him that the Rollers’ manager Tam Paton was a gangster who used and procured rent boys in Scotland (see post ‘Remember Girls, Never Get Into A Car With A Stranger!’), Lipton would have calmed down then. Later, in response to the Sex Pistols’ insults aimed at the Royal Family, Lipton argued that “if pop music is going to be used to destroy our established institutions, then it must be destroyed first”.

A youth centre in Lambeth is named after Lipton, who looked on as so many lives of youths in Lambeth were ruined. A further service to the UK was provided when in the 1950s, Marcus Lipton gave a tour of Parliament to a 13-year-old constituent, John Major, sparking a political ambition that led Major to becoming Conservative Prime Minister, serving as a Councillor in Lambeth on the way. The year before Major lost the May 1997 General Election to Miranda, Major’s Secretary of State for Wales William Hague orchestrated the huge cover-up which was the Waterhouse Inquiry.

Since leaving my comments after a recent post – which followed my conversation with a man who was a patient in the Gwynfa Unit in Colwyn Bay for children and adolescents, who told me that he had been physically assaulted by Angels in that Unit, but like the rest of us he barely knew that the Waterhouse Inquiry was taking place, let alone gave evidence – I have received an e mail from the person who is referred to as ‘P’ in the Waterhouse Report.

P was raped by one of the staff at the Gwynfa Unit. She wrote: ‘I didn’t know anything about the Waterhouse Report at the time. I had been visited by the police but at the time didn’t feel strong enough to go to court. I went to court in 1996/7. It was after my abuser was convicted that I was asked to attend the Waterhouse Inquiry. I think they only asked me 3 questions so it felt like a tick box exercise more than anything else.’
P has supplied me with some details about her case that are not in the public domain that simply add to the horror of it all, but she hasn’t given me permission to supply further information here, only that she had to give evidence at three different trials, as the Angel who raped her used various ploys to stop successive trials. P has given me a great deal of info about the way in which she believes that her ‘care’ at Gwynfa left her completely wrecked.
‘I lived in Wrexham but was sent to Gwynfa for treatment. Gwynfa changed its name and premises after my court case. Gwynfa is now called Cedar Court. I do recognise some of the names you have mentioned.’
I have blogged about Cedar Court previously. Cedar Court received a glowing inspection from Estyn – the Welsh Gov’ts Schools Inspection Service –  which was shortly followed by complaints from patients and an investigation which led to a report so damning that Cedar Court was closed down. No-one ever explained why Estyn had been so impressed by Cedar Court.
Cedar Court was run by one of Dafydd’s ex-wives. Gwynfa Unit was run by the Top Docs who were Dafydd’s friends and colleagues and the Senior Nurse there was Nigel Mannering Berry, an Angel who trained and worked at the North Wales Hospital Denbigh in the pre-Cambrian. See post ‘Don’t Be Silly, He’s Nice’.
‘We Didn’t Know.’ They knew so little that after every assault, after every rape, after every death and every investigation, the same solution was found – we’ll put Dafydd in charge all over again…
Dafydd’s influence never waned. I have blogged a great deal about the constant aggro that I received from Dafydd’s network, particularly the thugs of the Arfon Community Mental Health Team. In about 2007-08, I was in the Lodwig Villa Dental Practice in Bangor, paying at the reception desk after having a tooth yanked out. My jaw was still numb from the anaesthetic injection, I had a gob full of cotton wool and blood all over my chops. As I was paying there was a commotion behind me. A man was hurling insults and waving his fist at me. It was Andrew Brandt, the husband of Jackie Brandt, who Gwynedd social worker from the Arfon CMHT, who many years before had repeatedly perjured herself in attempts to have me imprisoned. I hadn’t seen or had any contact with Andrew Brandt or the dreadful Jackie for at least ten years. Yet he was in the dentist’s waiting room threatening me. I asked the receptionist to call the police. At that point Andrew Brandt started yelling at the receptionist – and the dentist who had come into reception after hearing the racket – and the waiting patients that I was a dangerous mental patient who should not be allowed into the dentist’s surgery. The dentist got me out of the back door away from Brandt.
I rang the police and reported the matter. I never heard back. The dentist refused to take the matter further as well. Lodwig Villa was the most expensive dentist in Bangor; it was also notorious because it did cosmetic surgery and penis extensions no less (the dentist’s wife being a Top Doctor), which led to a great many quips on the part of my friends about what Brandt’s husband might have been waiting for. The standing joke in Bangor was that when someone went into Lodwig Villa, they should have been asked by the receptionist ‘Teeth, tits or todger?’
I subsequently found out that the dentist and his wife were friends with one of the leading lights in the BMA in north Wales, who had previously worked as a Top Doctor in the Hergest Unit and that is why it was fine for me to be insulted and threatened by someone married to a member of a trafficking gang.
So here’s an Interesting Fact about Dr Sam Farambar who finds it acceptable for his patients to be threatened while they are parting with good money for dental treatment because he is friends with a member of the trafficking gang: Dr Sam Farambar, according to his mates in the BMA, is known to charge patients for examinations and treatments that are not needed. That is why the BMA man and his family did not use the services of Dr Farambar for their own dentistry. I don’t expect that those men paying to have their penes extended need that ‘treatment’ either but they’ll be reassured that they are Not As Other Men and all will be well if they hand the dosh over.
Sam and his wife were alleged to be making a great deal of money from those penis extensions.
Paddy  Ashdown has just announced that he has bladder cancer. Politicians and celebs are all going public with their diagnoses of serious health problems these days, particularly since I began detailing medical research fraud on this blog. The diagnoses are inevitably accompanied by tweets about the ‘FANTASTIC NHS’.
Paddy’s tweet read ‘I have been so moved by all the lovely comments here. But PLEASE this does not merit a fuss. Many go through this. The NHS guys in Yeovil Hosp. are BRILLIANT. I have the best of people and the best of friends to fight this with, which makes me, as so often in my life, very lucky’.
If it does not merit a fuss Paddy, then why have you announced it to the world and its media? Furthermore, how do you know that the NHS guys in Yeovil hospital are BRILLIANT? You will be able to judge whether they are friendly, polite or whether the hospital is clean, but you are completely unable to judge their clinical skills. You won’t even know whether your bladder cancer had been diagnosed slowly or speedily or at this stage whether it has even been misdiagnosed. To be blunt Paddy, you know sod all about bladder cancer and you are in no position to judge whether the treatment that you are receiving is brilliant or fucking hopeless. The Top Docs could tell you anything and you’d probably be none the wiser. But because you’re a tweeting politician, the BMA are going to be very, very friendly and nice to you, because they don’t want any questions raised about them in the House of Lords do they? As a former SBS man Paddy you will have good knowledge of life-saving skills in the face of injury, but bladder cancer research? Er, no, they don’t do that in the SBS.
One of the UK leads for the bladder cancer screening programme is the fragrant Lady Mary Archer. That does not fill me with confidence. Lady Mary, her husband Tuppence and Paddy have all kept quiet about the Westminster Paedophile Ring. See previous posts, including ‘Tuppence And His Fragrant Wife’, which provided details of the unfortunate death of a prostitute with whom Tuppence had sex – although Tuppence and his fragrant wife both perjured themselves in 1987 when they stated that Tuppence had not had sex with her – just before she was due to give evidence against Tuppence at his 2001 trial for perjury. The sex worker concerned, Monica Coghlan, died in April 2001 as a result of a road accident that was not her fault.
2001 – the year following Waterhouse’s enormous cover-up. Lord Snooty the Third entered Parliament two months after Monica was killed.
In July 1987, when Tuppence sued the ‘Daily Star’ for libel, committed perjury and as a result bagged £500k in damages, he was represented by Robert Alexander QC. See previous posts. Robert Alexander became Lord Alexander in 1988 and sat as a Conservative in the Lords. He was a member of and later Treasurer of Middle Temple, as was Ronnie Waterhouse. Alexander was educated at Brighton College (of which he was later President) – as was Keith Best, who as the Tory MP for Anglesey and a Welsh Office Minister, concealed the crimes of Dafydd and the gang (see previous posts) – and at King’s College, Cambridge.

Robert Alexander served as Chairman of the Bar Council, 1985–86. He retired from the Bar in 1989 and served as Chairman of the NatWest bank, 1989–99. He was also a Director of a number of other companies, a member of the Government’s Panel on Sustainable Development and Chairman of the Royal Shakespeare Company, 2000-04. Alexander was President and Chairman of the MCC, an institution favoured by John Major. Alexander was Chancellor of Exeter University, 1998–2005; Chair of JUSTICE, the human rights and law reform group, 1990–2005; and served on the Wakeham Commission into the reform of the Lords. John Wakeham had been Sir Peter Morrison’s boss when Morrison was Minister for Energy.

Robert Alexander was born in Staffordshire, where a long-standing paedophile ring linked to the one in north Wales existed and he died in Lambeth. Alexander died in 2005, so he was very much alive when Tuppence was found guilty of perjury in 2001 and jailed. No-one asked Alexander whether the former Chairman of the Bar Council should have been given a peerage the year after he defended someone who had lied his arse off in the witness box; Alexander did not offer any explanation as to why Lady Mary Archer was never charged with perjury and no-one at all commented on the very convenient death of Monica Coghlan just before she was due to give evidence at Tuppence’s trial. Before she died, Monica had talked of how Tuppence had completely destroyed her life.

To return to the latest advert for the qualities of Tuppence’s fragrant wife: Paddy, do you take artificial sweeteners such as aspartame in your drinks, rather than sugar? Because at one point, Top Docs warned patients who did so that aspartame was linked with bladder cancer. That had actually only been demonstrated in rats, so a few years later, the Top Docs told everyone not to worry after all. When I was at Hammersmith doing my MSc, we did the link between aspartame and bladder cancer. The people who taught us about it were the Top Docs who were involved in cancer research fraud. One of them, Professor Nick Wright, is now Sir Nick and for many years was the Head Honcho at CR UK. Who also funded his research.
Wow guys, you’re a great bunch. I just know that I’m gonna fight this and come through it… Er, which clinical trials are we going to make public then??? And er which data sets??
Tweeting about the greatness of those guys in the NHS Paddy is not going to improve the health outcomes of the population of the UK.

Over in Wales, the Baroness of Ely has announced that if she becomes FM, she might renounce her peerage, because she thinks that the people of Wales might not want an FM with a peerage. So why did Citizen Morgan ever accept a peerage in the first place? More importantly, what everyone always wanted to know when I lived in Wales was WHY Citizen Morgan was ever offered one??

I am a writer and a sociologist, originally from Somerset, but I’ve been based in Wales for most of my life. I had my first encounter with a mental health professional in 1984 at the age of 21. My GP described this man to my then partner – who also became a sociologist – as someone who had experienced ‘considerable success’. My meeting with this psychiatrist was a disaster and we attempted to complain about his insensitivity and highly inappropriate behaviour. That was the first time we were threatened and pressurised to withdraw a complaint against a mental health professional. This man is long dead – he was a retired psychiatrist from the North Wales Hospital Denbigh, T. Gwynne Williams, who was working shifts in the student health centre at University College of North Wales (now Bangor University). We discovered years later that this ‘successful man’ was notorious – he had been an enthusiastic lobotomist…

2 thoughts on “Lord Snooty The Third”

  1. I had forgotten the only positive aspect of Lord Snooty the Third returning to Gov’t; it will be the reappearance of Mrs Cameron’s Diary ‘in ‘The Observer’. Catherine Bennett has written another entry for today’s Observer in which the air-headed Sam speculates upon the numerous senior positions which Dave could simply step into next, including those outside politics which as Sam knows is just sooo boring and doesn’t really involve fashion designers…

Meanwhile there’s a row at The Tavistock Clinic after a group of parents of children believed to be experiencing gender dysphoria have levelled accusations that the dear old Tavi is persuading vulnerable kids to go down the path of gender realignment with undue haste. The Tavi have put their foot in their mouth by responding in a typically Top Doctoresque snotty manner, accusing the parents of having a ‘negative attitude’ towards gender dysphoria no less. I don’t know the parents concerned, but I suspect that they are struggling parents worried sick about their deeply distressed kids who won’t have the luxury of embracing gender dysphoria and taking a positive attitude. If their kids are in the hands of the Tavi, the stories will probably be those of desperately unhappy young people who are self-harming and trying to kill themselves, accompanied by difficulties at school.

The parents may well be right to question what is going on at the Tavi. The Tavi has not covered itself in glory in the past and has had links with those we know and love in north Wales. Interestingly, the Tavi has commented that gender dysphoria is no longer a mental illness diagnosis. Well for years it was, so you got something wrong then didn’t you Top Docs?? If gender dysphoria is NOT a mental illness diagnosis any longer, would the Tavi like to explain why they are involved with ‘trans’ young people then? The Tavi aren’t cultural sociologists are they?

By the way Tavi, would you like to tell the world what your relationship to Dr Tony Francis in north Wales was exactly? Because there was never any acknowledgement of your links to him and Dafydd on any literature but when Francis et al were refusing to respond in any way to my calls or letters regarding my very serious complaints, I found that if I rang Francis’s secretary and said that I was calling from the Tavistock Clinic, they jumped and went to find Francis in person. Those secretaries were very limited and had never been out of north Wales – they also lied to the police about me when ordered to – but they knew that the Tavistock Clinic was So Important that Francis had to be contacted immediately.

I have also received communication from the parent of a trans teenager in north Wales who is horrified at what the Top Doctors are doing to his son (who is now living as a girl)…

Can the Tavi, who lead the way in trans issues despite not being gender theorists, explain why Sadie Francis, the wife of their undercover pal Tony, felt able to describe herself as a specialist in gender dysphoria? Because she wasn’t. Furthermore as previous posts have described, Sadie was given a job as a consultant when she did not have the qualifications needed. Those at the Tavi would never have worked in north Wales themselves but they knew damn well what was/is going on up there. The Tavi will know that Dafydd was recommending gender realignment surgery for young people who were rash enough to tell him that they were gay. Another man found that one of Francis’s colleagues had written on his medical records that ‘this patient has always wanted to be a woman’. I had known him for 15 yrs and he had never expressed such desires as he observed to me when to his amazement he discovered what had been written on his records by one of the mad Top Docs at the Hergest.

It is not that I wish to trivialise the distress that some young people who currently maintain that they are trans are experiencing. More that if they and their parents had any idea of what the vampires at the Tavi and their wider network of colleagues actually do/have done, they wouldn’t go near them. Society has given the remit for some complex problems to a group of arrogant dangerous people who are clueless and very damaging.

Now here’s a few more people who were witness to what Dafydd and the paedophile gang were doing in north Wales in the 1990s and who got the hell out of there before the Waterhouse Inquiry began:

A nursing assistant called Paul who lived in Carneddi, Bethesda and was a very skilled woodcarver. Paul tried to make a living by making fantastic hand made things from wood but no-one in north Wales could afford such things, so he took a job as a healthcare assistant on the psych wards in Ysbyty Gwynedd and then worked in Hergest when Hergest was built. Paul was a really nice bloke, all the patients liked him and he was friendly outside of work as well because a lot of us lived near him. His house was amazing because he was so skilled, it was the most mind-blowing house in Carneddi, which at the time had a lot of very bad housing. The Angels BEGGED Paul to train as a nurse and join their clan but he wouldn’t. I suspect because what he knew was going on was just so grim that he was politely looking for an escape route… Paul got married but I can’t remember his wife’s name and then one day they were off. I think they moved to south Wales.

There was a young woman with very dark hair who had a baby called Oscar who worked in the Occupational Therapy team at Hergest as well who was very nice and who scarpered as patients began to be found dead. She moved to Bath and joined an occupational therapy team there. She had another baby after she moved to Bath. She remained in touch with some of the OTs in north Wales for years after she left so they will know who I am talking about; I cannot remember her name, but Oscar was born in about 1994/95.

A physio who was based in the Hergest Unit called Marion who was a keen climber and hung out in Llanberis with the rock climbing crowd. One of the climbers was referred to Hergest where he was treated appallingly by those we know and love and he used to tell me that Marion behaved with extreme embarrassment when she saw him around Llanberis. It won’t have been The Stigma, it’ll be because Marion knew what was happening to him at the hands of the Hergest and it was indefensible…

One person who didn’t scarper and who really did her best to help patients was destroyed by those we know and love at the North West Wales NHS Trust: an OT assistant called Laurel. She was horrifically bullied by the senior managers at the Trust because of her support for patients who were being mistreated by the Top Docs and Angels and she was also targeted because she became active in a union – I think it was Unison – and tried to raise concerns about the criminal conduct of Keith Thomson, the CEO. Laurel was in tears in Safeways one lunchtime when I bumped into her, just after the attempt by Thomson et al to have me imprisoned in 2004 for ‘threats to kill’; she told me that she wanted me to know that she had nothing to do with what had gone on but Thomson had told all of the Hergest staff that if any of them were found to have spoken to me or met me they would be sacked. The Hergest whistleblower had met me for lunch – in his own time, where no breaches of confidentiality had taken place, entirely legal and above board – and Laurel told me that the scenes afterwards were terrible as Thomson had gone after his blood.

So where were you Unison HQ?? YOUR OWN REP was bullied and sacrificed by the gangsters running Ysbyty Gwynedd, where were you? Laurel was the subject of a malicious investigation by the police AND there was an attempt to set her up by encouraging a very vulnerable student at Bangor University to make a formal – completely unjustified – complaint about Laurel. Very, very serious allegations were made about Laurel ’emotionally abusing’ this student; er the student who was told by another member of Hergest staff to ‘go and see your tutor at the university because we haven’t got the time to see you’. Yes, that was what was happening when the VC of Bangor University was under attack and being denounced as a bastard; staff of the Arfon CMHT and the Hergest were asking students who had been referred for mental health problems ‘do you have a tutor who you like? Then go and see them instead.’ Then there was the student who told me that she hadn’t really wanted to go to university but she had been told by her Top Doctor that there was no counselling service in north Wales, but Bangor University had a counselling service for the students, so she could enrol for a course and use the service. So she did. This was what was going on in Bangor while Blair was mouthing off ‘Education, Education, Education’; the HE system was doing the job of the welfare system because that had collapsed. Brown and me published a book about it which everyone pretended to ignore but I have been told that we really pissed people off by going public on what was happening. Well had they not behaved so badly, I’d have continued publishing radical but polite books. They’ve got this blog now instead.

Laurel had a stroke – at the age of 39 – after months of terror at the hands of Thomson. The senior echelons of Unison looked on.

So Blair made Education Education Education his central policy and Ed Miliband was planning to follow it up with Uncle Harry’s NHS. Well the truth is on this blog now you shallow lying bastards, the infrastructure and policies had fallen apart and you knew it.

    1. More witnesses:

Liz Pulford and Mike Howe. They were PhD students in Bangor’s Dept of Zoology in the mid-1980s. They later married and had a son. Liz and Mike stayed in north Wales, they used to work for the Institute of Terrestrial Ecology in Bangor when that still existed. The last I heard was when I met someone about five years ago who said that Liz and Mike were living on Anglesey. Liz and Mike knew my friend Anne Vernon, who was killed by the gang shortly after she started her PhD in the Zoology Dept in 1985.

A birder called Colin who lived in Rachub in the 1990s. I don’t know Colin’s surname but he’d been around Bethesda for years; he and his business partner made a living from leading exotic international bird watching holidays for the sort of people who didn’t live in Bethesda. Colin was always very pleasant, but he knew what happened to Patient F at the hands of Dafydd et al. Colin was good mates with F and his first wife; Colin shared a house with one of their close friends. I don’t think that Colin would have had any idea of how serious the crimes of Dafydd et al were, but Colin will have noticed that a few things were happening to F that should not have been.
