On Holiday!

I am going on holiday tomorrow and will be away for about a week. I am going to somewhere where there will be no wifi available at any time, so I will not be blogging or answering e mails. I will catch up on e mails when I return. Because of the way that my blog works, the comments of regular contributors are displayed on the blog as soon as they are sent – if I wanted to edit them, I would have to do so after they appear. This means that if any of my regulars leave a comment whilst I am away it will appear unedited on the blog. Could I please ask my regulars to take care if they leave a comment whilst I am away and not able to edit it (although I never have yet found it necessary to edit anyone’s comment). Please don’t leave any comments which are libellous, threatening, breach any laws or will give anyone legal reasons to demand that this blog is taken down. We are exposing serious criminality on the part of some very powerful people here who would be greatly relieved if this blog disappeared!

Something for everyone to mull over whilst I’m away – the appointment today of Lady Brenda Hale as President of the Supreme Court. The cups of the media commentators brimmeth over at this example of ‘diversity’, Lady Hale being a posh elderly white woman, rather than a posh elderly white man. Lady Hale herself observed that many judges are members of the Garrick, which has caused a problem (many members of the Garrick have featured on this blog). Lady Hale is a member of the Athenaeum – as was Jimmy Savile and his mates who gave him the management job at Broadmoor. As is Marjorie Wallace, star of post ‘One Dangerous Fucker’. As are scores of Top Doctors and leading lights of the BMA – the dining room of the Athenaeum might as well double up as the BMA canteen. Lady Hale was Chancellor of Bristol University between 2004-2016, visiting Professor at Kings College London and worked as an academic at the University of Manchester between 1966-1984. All these institutions are massively powerful in the medico-legal world and have been involved in keeping the lid on the barrel of crap. Lady Hale was instrumental in the legislation that led to the Mental Capacity Act, which has resulted in the incarceration of scores of people with learning disabilities and mental health problems, against the wishes of them and their carers. Some of these people have died whilst experiencing the ‘care’ that was forced upon them. Brenda Hale worked at the Manchester Bar – the paedophiles friends’ had associates on the Northern Circuit – and her area of expertise is family and social welfare law. So she hasn’t done a very good job there has she.

Lady Hale is a friend of Helena Kennedy and like Kennedy, calls herself a feminist. Helena did of course work closely with Professor Nigel Eastman, the ‘expert witness’ who is based at St Georges Hospital Medical School and who in 1991 told me to ‘go back to north Wales’ although he knew that psychiatrists there were involved in criminal activities and were constantly having me arrested. For further details of Lady Hale’s friend Helena and her connections, please see post ‘Eve was Framed – As Were A Lot Of Other People’.

I am a writer and a sociologist, originally from Somerset, but I've been based in Wales for most of my life. I had my first encounter with a mental health professional in 1984 at the age of 21. My GP described this man to my then partner - who also became a sociologist - as someone who had experienced 'considerable success'. My meeting with this psychiatrist was a disaster and we attempted to complain about his insensitivity and highly inappropriate behaviour. That was the first time we were threatened and pressurised to withdraw a complaint against a mental health professional. This man is long dead - he was a retired psychiatrist from the North Wales Hospital Denbigh, T. Gwynne Williams, who was working shifts in the student health centre at University College of North Wales (now Bangor University). We discovered years later that this 'successful man' was notorious - he had been an enthusiastic lobotomist...
